23 Aug 2006, 8:00am, I reported myself to the hospital to prepare for ceasarian at 11:00am.
At 11:15am, I was on the operation theater, epidural was admitted by my anesthetist. I chose epidural so that hb can go into labour room to witness the arrival of our little prince. I was so worried and panic because my legs can still feel after the epidural was admitted! I was screaming to my anesthetist! :) I was too nervous till I forgotten that pain nerve and feeling nerve are different! hahahaha.......
Finally saw my hb's face appeared in the room at 11.30am, my gynae told us that we can hug our prince soon! I was so excited! Wail! Wail! Wail..... little darling's cries! Wow! he cries so loud! My gynae lifting up our little prince above the curtain to let me take a look at him before send him for cleaning! I was so touch and tears had flooded my eyes.
Do you believe or not! During this messy period, I can still remind my gynae to collect cord blood! :P :P :P I super worried that this important task was left out!
So happy and relief when seeing our little darling lying quietly on my chest. He stopped cried, his little face was so chubby, so tender! He is 100% looks like daddy!
Daddy followed the nurse sending baby to nursery while I stayed on the operation theater for stitching. I was advised to rest in our room after came out from the observation room at 1:00pm+. Nurse brought our little darling to let him latch at 4pm after I fully recovered from numb.
I was so lucky that my wound did not give me much problem. I went down from bed to go to washroom with help (because my injured pelvis still not recovered) the next day evening. We were delighted that we were allowed to go home together with our little darling on Saturday morning.
