3 Years Old Milestone

Time is flies, our Little Darling is three now! From toddler become a small boy. I am happy and proud with his development.
He can……………..
- Speaks fluently sentences using proper grammer as well.
- Uses past continuous tenses. Eg: I have taken my lunch. She has gone back.
- Counts well, do simple addition.
- Writes 0 to 9 without aid.
- Does simple maze and soft shapes puzzle without aid.
- Find and match words with pictures based on spelling read to him.
- Colour pictures without exceed the border line
- Understand and speaks simple Chinese, sing a number of Chinese and English songs
Motion….
- hop with one leg
- peddle tricycle, ride mini scooter
- dance very well, shake bum bum
What we hope…..
- drink more water
- more sociable, less shy – willing to talk in front of strangers
- healtier – less cough, less running nose, no more stomachache
- more gentle, less temper
- stop reading on the car (simply refuse to listen when told him do not read on the car)

Spent A Day at Explorer Kids

Mummy was simply too tired to plan and think where to go on Darling’s birthday but feel so sorry if we really do nothing. End up we brought Darling to Downtown East.

On the spot we registered as member and get the member card. The first moment enter Explorer Kid, darling was delighted and excited seeing so many things there and shouted to start off.

He climbed up the 4th floor playground and slide down. He was shocked with the spiral slide and stunned for 1 minutes before he get over the shock and start to climb up again. Non-stopped climbing up and down, moving from one section to another for more then half an hour, Darling still full with energy and continued while daddy had exhausted and really need a break.

I persuaded him to play at the ‘ball room’ where he can jump, lying, walk in the pool of white balls.

Daddy brought Darling to the Ball City. Darling looks much more mature then his age if judged based on his behavior. He quickly picked up balls from the floor and throw into the bag without delay for a second. And immediately he wants to continue. He does not realised that the shooting balls to target at second floor is more fun then the basedment game till mummy told him to go and try. Once tried and he refused to go other place till times up.

Good times is always pass fast, it was 4.00pm without we realised about it, daddy and mummy both exhausted and tired like dog yet our Darling still wanted to continue. We were using all kinds of excuses to make him leave the place and proceed to have drinks and some snacks before go home.

Darling fall asleep when he just touched the car seat and not even start to suck his milk. He sleep sounds all the way home.

After bath and change, we get ready to go in laws house for dinner and cut cake. Daddy bought Darling a Mickey Mouse ice cream cake.

Darling's Birthday Present

Mummy was rushing Year 2010 Business Plan in the past two weeks, really not able to squeeze out time to buy Darling’s birthday present! Sigh........

This morning after SM lesson, we zoomed to Robinsons hoping that we could get something for our Darling who is a good boy the whole morning in the class. Shopped for more then an hour but could not find what to get and Darling unable to decide what he wants. All said don’t want when I asked if he want mummy buy for him.

When we were about to leave the toys department, I saw it at a corner --- Mini Scooter which we planned to buy for Darling long ago but no action and Darling nodded his head when ask if he want it! Yes! Found one for Darling. Hope Darling like it and enjoy ride on it!

What is the birthday present from daddy? A new bidding car plate number which belong to Darling and our family! We hope Darling will treasure it and continue to use the same car plate number when he buys a car! :D

Birthday Party With Classmates

Darling is turning three this coming Sunday. Daddy and mummy intended to celebrate Darling’s birthday together with all his little friends. We took half day off in the morning, after sent Darling to school. We rushed home to.prepare some ballons, goodie bags, snacks, drinks and a birthday cake to Darling school at about 10am.

Darling likes Thomas and Friends very much, insisted to have this design birthday cake!

All kids were very exciting, squeezing to the desk wanted to see 'Thomas'!

Marina Barrage

Darling extremely cranky in Teacher Helen’s class this morning. He threw tantrum and refused to do liking memory, even cried out loud in the classroom. Sigh…. I was so stress during the lesson, wondering how to tackle this little boy!

The one hour was extremely long! Phew..............finally lesson end. Another oine and the half hour to go then meeting xiao yi for buffet dim sum which booked four months ago. Where to go, whjat to do with this grouchy boy! Okay! Since have not been to Marina Barrage, lets stopped there a while.

Little one really forgot about his lousy mood but enjoyed himself very much, running and touching every where. There were so many things for his explorer and play with till he refused to leave despite mummy’s numerous reminders.....

Our Dear Creative Boy

Chat with Darling could be very ‘challenging’. He could react extremely fast and he really can give you all kinds of answers besides he has thousands and thousands of ‘why’! When you ask him back why this why that. He could given you answer that really impressive people!

Other than this, Darling is very creative. He loves to sing and change lyrics according to his mood.
