Draw! Draw! Draw!

Little Darling has taken a liking to draw, doodle that is! He keeps saying draw draw draw and he really draws on papers and books but what he likes most is to draw on walls! Despite numerous stern warning been given to him from daddy and mummy, he still draws on walls whenever he can grab a pen, pencil or colour pencils! Now I have to hide all these writing instruments from him!

He is very proud with his artworks. This is evident in his persistence in wanting to show us his artworks. He would point to the patch of he drew and babbling ‘draw draw draw!’ whenever he passing by the spot!

Head and Shoulders, Knees and Toes

Aiyoh our attention seeker Little Darling keep pestering daddy and mummy to read books for him, to hug him etc, end up both of us unable to have a peaceful lunch!

To pass time before his afternoon nap, I told him to play with parts of body! He likes it very much and so far still not feels boring of it! :-P I just name it part by part and he happily point on them and speak out – eyes, tongue, nose, teeth, mouth, lips, forehead, face, chin, chest, ears, hair, head, armpits, elbows, knees, toes, fingers, buttock, tummy, etc. Here snapped some of the pictures! :-)

Beside playing parts of body, I also played with him opposites though he doesn’t know many: big x little, up x down, wet x dry, clean x dirty, left x right, long x short, high x low, in x out, full x empty & less x more.

Till he exhausted and asked for nap! Sweet Dreams, Darling! :)

Weekend Outing

Wow so happy to have a long weekend! We do not want to just waste time window shopping or idling at home doing nothing and it has been many weeks since we last brought Little Darling out. Due to tightened up security, there are the ever present long car queue at Woodlands checkpoint and Tuas second-link, so we cannot go to JB. Where go to unwind ourself? Ok, let’s go to goats’ farm again! We have been there a few times but we have always forgotten to record down the milking process. I would like to tape it down and play to Little Darling as one of the teaching material.

After the farm visist, we lunched at a nearby vegetable farm. The restaurant was filled with customers, so they could only let us sit in the open air area as we had not make any reservation. It was quite warm but those fans with mist spray provided us with some cool breeze. Also the air was filled with fragrance from the many nearby lush groves of pandan leaves there!

We took a walk in the farm after lunch. There were many different types of banana trees, vegetable, papaya, guava trees, and a mini spicy garden holding many pandan leaves, curry leaves, cloves, etc! So happy to have this chance to introduce to our Little Darling ‘male papaya trees’, extremely long bunch of bananas etc but he was more interested to touch ladies fingers! :-)

Though the afternoon sun was scorching hot, this has not deterred many people from taking a walk in the farm! We ‘suntanned’ for more then an hour in the farm!

Aunty Samatha's Wedding

We woke up very early this morning prepared to attend mummy’s university classmate, Aunty Samatha’s church wedding followed by lunch reception. End up we only could make it for lunch reception as it was almost 11am by the time we were ready to go!
Little Darling just could not sit tight but keep making noise wanted to walk around! Aunty Sandra had to busy entertained him while eating her food! It was not easy to have a peaceful meal with this active Little Darling!
