I Become Daniel

Today mummy reached school at around 5.55pm. After settling Darling on the car seat, mummy refilled Darling's water bottle, just in case Darling need some water when he is munching some bread. He would be very cranky if there is no bread for him during the journey home. I would think that he was simply too hungry as it was at least 4 hours after his afternoon milk (usually he skip his 3pm afternoon tea). 

When he was munching his bread, suddenly he said ‘Mummy, I become Daniel, not Javier!’ I was shocked! Wondering what’s in this little brain,… this little boy wanted to change his name to Daniel?????

Good Boy Darling!

This morning Darling did not cry! He only shown sour face when mummy passed him to daddy. Mummy kissed and consoled him that mummy would fetch him early early this evening and told him ‘Darling good boy, good boy must goes school.’ He nodded his head! Really hoped he is settling down and getting used to his school life!

Love-bite from A Passion Italian Girl!

04.02.2009 Wednesday

Teacher Sheila called mummy during lunchtime, a girl bit Darling’s face when teacher was busying washing another kid in the bathroom. Teacher said it was not serious, Darling cried a while and he was fine after treating his wound with ice bag and he was napping when teacher called me.

I did not rush to the center immediately as I took teacher’s word that Darling should be fine since the other kid is also just a toddler.

I almost fainted when I saw Darling. There is a red teeth mark on Darling’s temple and Darling pointed to the wound and complained pain! It was really heartache. When questioned, Darling told me that was by Anna, the Italian girl in the same class. Teachers on duty did not able to tell much as they were not around at the moment yet Teacher Sheila has gone back. I was furious about the incident! How could it happen? How could it so bad?

We brought darling to see doctor. Doctor gave some applied antibiotic to apply on the wound to prevent any infection.

05.02.2009 Thursday

Mummy wrote email to the center Manager. The incident happened when the class was having story telling session. Out of sudden Anna stood up and bite Darling for no reason. There was neither any argument nor fighting. No one knew the reason. It happened within a very shot time but long enough to leave such a deep wound on our Darling’s tender face!

Darling Still Not Used To Childcare Life!

So fast! So fast! Time flies! 3 months already darling goes childcare but till today he still cries every morning when we approach his childcare center. Almost every morning he nags at mummy he doesn’t want go school, he would like to stay with mah mah or he asked mummy not go to work, stay at home with Darling. Really put me off ... Everytime he says so, I am tempted to quit the job and be SAHM again. Sigh! :-(
