Go Farm Eat Grass

Little Darling likes to say ‘stay with goats, stay with cows, stay with horse in the farm and eat glass’ ! , just because he likes animals!

We brought him to experience it today. Instead of calling it farm I would rather say that it was kampong. There were goats, geese, ducks and cranes kept in the fenced-up area outdoor while rabbits, hamsters and iguana were kept in the hut. Dogs and parrots kept in air-con rooms.

We had to use force to drag him away from one to another section………… He simply refused to go. He stayed hours in the hut and refused to leave even though he finished feeding all the carrots to the rabbits. Hehe…. But immediately he left the place when he saw the big iguana sharing the same hut lying on the branch just next to the cage! So far he doesn’t like lizards and a bit scared of them. Again he spent a lot of time seeing dogs!

As expected we had to drag him to the car as he refused to leave. He protested and refused to take dinner but asking to go farm again. He pestered daddy and mummy to bring him go farm again and again after we reached home!

Bye-bye Thursday 1800Hrs Class

Mummy had started to apply to change Little Darling’s Shichida class to Saturday since early this year. Finally squeezed in a Saturday morning slot next term, but it is very early, lessons start at 8.45am! Mummy is wondering if we can make it on time for lessons in future as mummy always wakes up late on weekends.

Both mummy and Little Darling like Teacher Lynn and present classmates very much, mummy feels sad to leave them too. But there is no vacancy for us on weekends with same teacher at Springleaf Tower. Just hope that we can enjoy our lessons in a new class as much as we do now.

月圆花好---中秋节 (Mooncake Festival)

Er yi bought Little Darling a Mickey Mouse lantern. He played with it once at my mum’s place and after that it was kept in the cupboard. I took it out to let him play a while last night, planned to let him play together with other kids at poolside tonight. But he had an early night this evening having skipped afternoon nap.

We went out very early this morning; whole day non-stop zoomed here and there. Today’s weather was extremely good, sunny and windy. It would be wasted if we had not let our active boy unwind himself at a beach or field…. The nearest place to us was West Coast Park where our Little Darling almost got sunburnt running on the field under the parching sun. A bit disappointment though was that there were no seashells at this beach. Little Darling has been looking forward to pick seashells!

Mummy thought of bringing Darling home after our afternoon tea but daddy turned his car-steering to Jacobs Ballas Children Garden instead. Little Darling spent another 2 hours playing there. He was simply too tired after that and has no mood to eat dinner though we ordered his favorite food - pasta and spaghetti.

He slept flat after bath, missed our mooncakes and tea appreciation session!

Money! Money Feed Piggy Bank

Little Darling has learnt to save pocket money as one of the “Good Habits” and was looking forward to have a piggy bank. We could not find any traditional pottery piggy bank for him. He picked this pink Happy Piggy from the store we patronized last week.

Now every morning, he will ask either daddy or mummy for ‘money money’ to ‘feed’ his piggy bank. You know what he told me yesterday? He said" Daddy go work work, give Darling money money, Darling put piggy bank!” :-)

Xiao Yi's New House

Today mummy went to help xiao yi clean her new house. Little Darling ran from room to room, from kitchen to living room, played with water, touched the dusty floor, rolled and danced at the platform!!! He simply could not sit down tight. Apart from disturbing others and screaming it was still disturbing others and screaming. Ended up daddy had to bring him outdoor to play. He was so happy because daddy let him play at the playground for hours and he totally forgot about his afternoon nap!

三字经

Till today Little Darling still could not speak Chinese except 不要. I tried to speak and teach him Chinese everyday since I set it as a mission few months back but still no improvement.

Part of the Chinese program is read to him 三字经, he could recite some parts of it but not complete set (miss out some phrases) and not in proper pronunciation too!
