Funny Faces

Please look at our Little Darling’s pictures! He is 6 months old now! He is very playful and mischievous. He has very rich expressions! He likes to do all these funny expressions with a lot of sound effect added in when playing with us. Our hearts would melt whenever see him like this. He is simply so adorable, sweet and heartwarming!

But sometimes mummy is so annoyed by him that would feel like smacking his buttock hard. This is when he becomes possessive, naughty and wild! He is a typical ‘ham bao’ and dependent baby. He would stick to mummy and daddy like superglue to paper. He often refuses to play alone. He would cry out loud when we were too busy to carry him. He likes making noise to gain attention when we are on the phone!

GONG XI FA CHYE! Happy Lunar New Year!

It was the first day of Chinese New Year! Mummy bought Little Darling a pair of very nice traditional New-Year clothes in red with embroidery of dragon patterns.

After breakfast, we played with little darling at home for a while. We were preparing to go ah mah house to ‘bai nian’. We intended to stay there for few days because many ah yi-s and cousins would be there! I hoped that our little one could play and enjoy himself in the company of grandparents, aunties and cousins while I could catch up with my family.

It was already noon when we reached ah mah home. Ah yi-s were so happy to see the little one that they rushed to carry him. In the midst of all these actions, suddenly Little Darling wailed loud, shocked daddy and mummy who were taking lunch at the dining table! I quickly rushed to the living room to take a look at him. His mouth was bleeding and he was crying out loud in pain! My youngest sister was carrying him at that moment; I quickly took him over to see what was happening to him. There was a cut at the inside of his lower lip!

My 2nd sister's 2-years’ old daughter was pinching his mouth and had gashed it! Our poor Little Darling was crying out with all his might. He must have never been that painful before in his life! We tried to ‘sayang’ him and stop the bleeding. He was inconsolable and cried for almost half an hour before he could calm down. He had a bad fright with this sudden attack. He cried out loudly again thereafter whenever he saw this little cousin (who hurt him just now) go near him! His lower lip was swollen for few days after that!

Scratch on Little Tender and Delicate Forehead

I was busy with spring cleaning these few days, at the same time have to take care of the little one! I was extremely tired and regretted that not get a part-time helper to assist me.

Over the weekend I tried to finish as much as possible because hb could help to take care of the little one. Since his cleaning skills was very much below acceptable standard. I rather he spent time with baby like feeding baby milk and swing him sleep or carry and play with him.

After a day hard working, I intended to sit down for a cup of tea before our dinner. I feel like to carry and talking to Little Darling since whole day I don’t do so! I was shocked! My eyes balls almost dropped!!!!! There was a deep and long scratch on Little Darling’s forehead and it was so red! It must very painful! Yet daddy has no clue how, when and where our Little Darling got it?! Our precious one still looks very happy and as if nothing happened! I think he has forgotten about the pain! I almost fainted! My heart was very very painful seeing such a cut on the little tender and delicate face! It almost touched eyebrow, what if slightly longer, it might hurt his left eye! Goodness me! I was worried if it will leave scar? If can, I will rather it cut on my face! sob! sob! sob!
