Twisted My Pelvis Joint

I had very bad water retention and my stomach was super huge! Many people thought I was carrying twins or triplets! :)

20 July 06 2:00am, I was thinking of going to washroom but my pelvis was too painful for me to move even with hb's assitance! I could not get up, unable to move to lie down nor to sit properly. My hb dialed an ambulance to send me to hospital and I was hospitalised for 3 days. I twisted my pelvis joint.

My gynae told us that it will takes at least half year to recover. I could not stand, sit and walk properly. I must on wheelchair till after I gave birth. I must tried to move and exercise my legs to ensure blood circulation at my lower part and legs. Just a simple action can kill me and caused my tears dropped because it is too painful. I must relied on pain killer which I was relunctant to take initially. Besides this, I must take aspirin to prevent arterial clotting and pills to prevent pre-term contractions.

On 8 Aug, we went for a routine checkup at my gynae clinic. With my injured pelvis, I could not have naturally delivery. We scheduled to have ceasarian to bring out our little precious one when he turns 37weeks old! I feel so sad and sorry to my little one that I could not keep him longer in my womb till he is full term. On the other hand, I was happy that we could see him and hug him earlier! What a contradiction!

My gynae ordered me started to jab at my stomach instead continue with aspirin and these must be done 2 weeks before my delivery.

Those jabs were nightmare to me, I couldn't bear to poke on my stomach! I felt so painful when the nurse poked on me and I was advised to do it myself for the next 14 days! It was too troublesome to have my jab at GP as I am on wheelchair and hb has to work. So I decided that I do it myself. When I first tried to jab on myself on 9 Aug, I pinched as hard as possible on the area I intended to poke needle, deep breath and gather full courage, the needle poked on my fresh! Goodness me! It was so painful and my tears dropped! Due to my lousy skill, it was bleeding. The fresh red blood wetted two big pieces of cotton wool and I was so panic to see so! Luckily it was stopped after I pressed on the tiny hole using gauze.

I was so worried when I have to jab on the following day. I sitting tight on the wheelchair, took deep breath and action to poke..... failed to poke the needle in! I have been repeated the deep breath and action to poke for more then half an hour but the needle just simply do not go into my layer of fats! I gave the nurse a ring, she advised me to rub the area I intend to poke till it numb, relax and poke. I followed and feel slightly better but again bleeding and I cried! This poking needle job really can kill me! I can't imagine that I have to do it for another 13 days! :-(
