My trip to Malaysia( Day 4)

Right after breakfast at Genting , I had to pack up and leave. I felt very sad to leave Genting as the weather was cooling there unlike the weather in Singapore. I sat on the bus sadly looking out of the window thinking about when I could come again. After 2 to 3 hours, the bus stopped at a fanciful restaurant where we alighted to eat 'Shi Ba Luo Han', a signature dish. I caught sight of a table decorated with a lot of delicious food. I immediately dashed forward and grabbed a spoon filled with abalone and sauce. There were a lot more other dishes that I ate, the most delicious was the bird nest dessert. After lunch we continued our journey home.

My trip to Malaysia(Day 3)

Today we planned to go to Bentong and Raut for half a day. For lunch, we stopped at Gotong Raya. San Yi ordered lots of yummy food and the dish I liked best is the fried knuckle. The knuckle's skin was crispy and the meat, tender. After lunch, we went to Raut to visit the gold mine which is the only gold mine in Malaysia. Since we could not go in, we looked at the mine from outside. We left the mine shortly and went to eat ice kacang . My cousin accidentally spilled the ice kacang on her pants and got reprimanded by her mother. We went to look for durians but unfortunately the durians we wanted were not on sale. We were disappointed over this and left the place with a heavy heart. Before long, we got to a kueh stall and bought some of their delicious Hakka kueh. After that, we went to the Bentong street market. Unfortunately, it started to rain. My mother only managed to grab a piece of ginger before dashing back into the bus. The rain continued for about half an hour but stopped just as we reached Bukit Tinggi street market. We bought some fruits and went on to our next destination: Tao Yuan Gu . Before dinner, I saw three wild boars roaming freely in the nearby miniature forest. I fed them some bread and they tucked in heartily. For dinner, I ate lots of delicious food including curry wild boar meat. After dinner we went back up to Genting again for a good night's rest.

My trip to Malaysia(Day 2)

We finally arrived at the leaning tower of Telok Intan at 6.30 am. I saw the magnificent leaning tower and its unique wavy clock. After that, we went to a eating house and had delicious Bak Kut Teh for breakfast. After our meal, we went to Tua Pek Gong temple and ate a small bowl of red wine mee siam there . Soon, we arrived at Sekinchan fishing village and had our lunch which served shark meat porridge, fried shark meat and steamed shark meat. For dessert, we ate fish scale jelly. They make the fish scale jelly using the gel from the fish scales. We walked to a shop to buy fishballs because they tasted nice and were quite special. Over there, I saw raw fish maw hanging over my head. After that, we went to a beach and I was sweltering as the weather was very hot at the beach. However, I had fun playing bubbles there with a Malay girl. I also sat on a swing while eating ice cream. After that, we made our way to the restaurant for the special dish '12-gold- phoenix 'which looked spectacular but tasted horrible; so horrible that I could only eat the abalone. After a long day, we finally headed for Genting. We reached Genting at about 9 pm and quickly grabbed our luggage, checked into our room and went for a walk around the surroundings. Genting underwent massive changes, from a few old shops into a modern shopping mall  . After about fifteen minutes, we retreated to our room, had showers and went to bed.

My trip to Malaysia!(Day 1)

I was really tired after attending a two-hour tuition. Still,  I was very excited over the coming Malaysia trip. I quickly dashed into the car, to be with my mother and cousin. My mother passed me a metal container containing the dinner she had prepared for me.With that, she sped to the customs to avoid traffic jam, which was building up. We arrived at my aunt's house. We stayed in the house and waited for the rest of my family members who were going to Perak with us by coach. At 10.30pm the coach arrived. I dragged my tired legs to get into the coach and immediately fell asleep. The coach was to drive us first to Anson.

The first day of the school holidays!

As usual, my mother sent me to the student care.

I spent most of my time doing homework, in between, I had fun chatting with my friends and playing with them too. Kind of a boring day!

Surprise arrived on dinner tonight! 'Therlah!' My favorite food - curry chicken! The curry was really delicious, it has lots of ingredients and all were my favorites- cabbage,chicken, long bean etc.

A boring day filled with a good surprise! 😋

I am taking over the blog!

Hi!I am the boy in the blog and I am officially taking over this blog.

Last time mummy was the one writing my blog since I was still young and did not know how to type. Now I am as an upper primary school student, I am capable enough to take over the task to update this blog.

I will be going to some interesting places in north Malaysia with my family and I will back here to keep you posted.

Swimming Pools Became Mud Pools

Believe your eyes! The photo you saw is swimming below our unit. 

Storm during this afternoon brought in too much water, soil were swept into the pools. All our swimming pools, kids pools, Jacuzzi pool etc were all became mud pools! Okay! No swimming for darling next few days till pools are clean!

Darling was so happy to see the birthday cake. He likes to cut cake so much, be it daddy or mummy birthday, he must do the cut cake as if his birthday! :D

2010 Fathers' Day

It's a Saturday, since daddy and mummy are not working, we dine out and bought a small cake home.  Darling is too sweet to give daddy a kiss! 

The Resort World

Ah ma and shi yi are at our house, daddy suggested to go Resort World after dinner.  This was first time ah ma went to casino in the Resort World Sentosa.  We spent our evening walking around RW and watched laser show.

 

There were many audience standby to watch show when we reached the audience seats.  Picked a good location and enjoying the show for almost an hour.  Darling was totally attracted by the show.

 

Mummy was too into the show and forgot to take photo, anyway photos may be unable to capture the beauty of the performance.

 

Music lesson

Thank you Teacher Edward, Darling enjoying keyboard very much!

Just started tge junior group piano, Darling is showing interest on piano! He is asking for violin as well but I prefer be focus and abit worried too much to cope! In the class, Darling is the youngest but he pick up as fast as others though sometimes he could be cranky and throw tantrum, refused to play solo! Teacher Edward reward kids with cute stickers and sweets, mischievous and naughty behaviour are basically under control.

At night, Darling takes initiative to practise songs! But he can be lazy and not hook his fingers properly! Other then this, guess he is pretty good coordinating his both hands fingers and reading notes at the same time.

Good-Bye Teacher Helen

Today mark as last lesson with Teacher Helen, why keep changing teacher? Littke one ginna to spend some time to be closer with teacher! Gonna to cranky, gonna to distract, hope wouldn't run out from the class and not cry with new teacher next week!

Relaxing Weekend

This morning was our first time visit to goat farm since March lasr year. Due to H1N1 fear, all visitors are not allow to go near to goats, no more feeding goats. Darling missed it very much, keep pestering daddy and mummy to let him feed. No choice we have to respect owner decision (partly was the instruction from AVA)and it was part of precutions. 

After goat milking session, we have our lunch at the nearby café. The cosy environment is a place just nice for us to soak ourself in under this hot weather,  wonderful to have lunch here.

 

Then.............  again the little one was giving us problem after lunch! He refused to leave.............  Headache!

New Year Eve

Mummy worked half day, in the afternoon, we brought Darling out for lunch and shopped around at Vivo City.

Mummy wanted to snap some shots while we were strolling along the harbourfront, Darling paused and posed like a little model! He even lifted up his shirt to show off his little rounded tummy! He is simply too adorable!

We spent whole afternoon at the children playground till dinner time. Darling has good appetite to finish a plate of spaghetti. When the crowd started to build up at the shopping mall, people started to come in to join the countdown party but we decided to leave the place for our home sweet home. Darling would be too tired to join countdown party and we were worried traffic jam after the event. Darling fall asleep immediately after boarding the car and slept all the way home.

2009 Christmas Eve

After dinner, we went to Orchard to join the crowd to have some fun. We chose park and ride as thought of to avoid traffic jam… but…. We were wrong! Haha… we were stuck in the train station. Human traffic jammed very badly while road condition was not too bad! It was very stuffy and suffocating! We have problem to move forward yet unable to move back to station…. Finally reached Somerset, we jumped onto another ride to get out from Orchard!
Worse thing was mummy deleted our photos inadvertently............... :(

Promoted to N2

Mummy, Darling big boy, N2 now!’ Darling so proud that he has promoted to N2 today. He was so happy that his class has moved to 2nd floor which mean he is big boy now.

He started to say does not want to drink milk before afternoon nap, he wants to learn to bath himself, refused to put on diapers during his afternoon nap etc.

Time flies, since when our Little Darling is a big boy that approaching forty months old! He starts to know what he doesn’t want, whats will make him feel shame etc! But one thing still not change --- strong character and high ego which really headache!

N1 Meeting Parents Session II in 2009

Time flies, One full year has passed since Darling goes to the childcare center! We were invited to attend the second meeting pafrents session at 10.45am this morning. We rushed all the way after SM lesson.

Teachers commented that Darling is a good boy, more mature than his peers and behave like a monitor in the class.

We are happy with his academic development. He has no problem in writing, counting, simple addition +1, +2 and +3 and he could express himself very well. The only headache is he still unable to speak proper Chinese in a short sentence.

We need more effort to coach him and give him more time to pick up slowly as the childcare center is like an international school with majority of them are foreigners. Exposure to Chinese is limited too except with his Chinese teachers. While at home, Darling still refuse to comminucate in Chinese.

Olympics Linking Memory II

I learnt from previous lesson that darling will throw tantrum and refuse to arrange cards if put him together with other kids, so I informed Teacher Helen in advance that we separate darling from other rkids during the test.

Teacher Helen distributed each kid a set of card that they have to arrange after the set of forty cards was flashed on the screen. I collected cards and brought darling to a side for him to arrange cards on the floor. Very fast he completed the task and finshed it before the three minutes time frame. When teacher checked the answer, only three cards that were not in the right positions! Superb! Darling is doing well……… Teacher Helen was delighted with his performance and praised him.. hahahaha… Darling threw temper and walked out from the class! Sigh………
