It seemed like the weather was pretty good this morning. It was warm and sunny. We quickly set off to Sentosa after checking-out from Conrad.
First, we stopped at the Imbiah area for the Sentosa Luge and Skyride. We each picked up our helmets and joined the super long queue for the Luge. While queuing, we spent more than 15 minutes fighting with The Little Two Year Old to put the helmet on him. He kept screaming ‘Don’t want helmet!’ Finally was our turn to go yet he still refused to have the helmet on. The staff at the gate chipped in to help us persuading him for another 5 min but to no avail. In order not to jam up the queue, we stood aside to continue with our efforts to persuade him. Can you imagine spending half an hour arguing with the little boy about putting on a helmet! Gosh!
We had to proceed to sit on the luge and hoped that by now he would relent; unfortunately he did not, we had to resort to putting the helmet on him forcibly with the help from the staff there. Guess what? He took it out and insisted he “don’t want helmet!” Soft and hard approaches all failed yet the staff would not allow us to ride without helmet! Mummy was left with no choice but to use force again! Put the helmet on him and held down both his hands. After started to move the luge a bit, do you know what happen next? He kept still and volunteered to help mummy ‘drive’! Hahaha….. He liked it so much and enjoyed the journey all the way till the end point that he totally forgot about helmet! Aiyoh!
Guess what happened after that? He refused to come out from the luge at the end of the game, he asked for more! This time the argument was settled quite swiftly – by a staff member who just carried him out from the luge! This boy! This boy! I really do not know how to describe him!
Next we continued to The Skyride. Mummy has height phobia and that made mummy very tense. I really hoped Little Darling would not move or create trouble half way of the ride. He was a good boy during the entire ride. I did not know whether he did enjoy the ride very much or he was scared stiff. After that he kept asking for another luge ride, before we get tickets for another ride, it started to rain again.
The weather did not turn good even after our lunch meal. We spent an hour walking at the sheltered area near to The Merlion. Our Little Darling is really sweet when he is a good boy. Mummy heartpain he walked too long and worried he might too tired and offered to carry him. Less then five minutes carrying him, he volunteer to walk saying ‘Mummy tired, Darling walk walk!” Heart melts right?
We thought of pampering our feet to a luxurous foot spa. But too bad there was a long queue at the foot spa and no available slot till after 5.30pm. We decided to go home as we could not do much things in the wet weather.
