First SM Lesson

We have been searching for baby or kid programs for our Little Darling. Since I quit to take care of him, I should be allowed to spend more quality time with him then let him idling and do nothing. Chatted with my friends and gathered information from education providers and websites. There are so many valued programs that meeting our requirement.

We would like to let him learned something, picked up some motor skill and at the same time not too stress to him. Daddy was convinced by SM after attended their seminar end March 07.

5 April 2007, our little darling attended his 1st SM class. May be I too stress and excited that caused him unable to have a nice nap in the afternoon. About 4:30pm, I decided that we take public transport to his school at Tanjong Pagar. I was so worried that I might not be able to handle him if he cranky because this was the first time I alone brought him taking public transport. True enough, he did not give me peaceful time the whole journey, he twisted, disturbed and played with others passengers, non-stop moving around! There were three couples that asking to take photos together with him! May be his cheerful face and playful character that made him attractive! I was worn out when reached our destination station as I was too busy carrying, pacifying, patting, talking to him the whole journey.

Class started at 6:00pm, there were total 6 babies in the class. Our Little Darling was the second youngest in the class. As started of first lesson, the teacher wanted daddies and mummies introduced our babies and said hi to the class.

Our Little Darling paid attention for the first 10 minutes only and started his pattern pattern behaviours! He was very grouchy till end of the lesson. When the teacher was teaching phonics, teacher almost finished to Z while our Little Darling still 'teaching' his apple! He disturbed the whole class as he keep saying apple, pa pa etc in the class.

The other babies were as good as him! A,B,C,D, E & F took turn to make noise, wail, shout etc. The class was so noisy! I did not know what’s exactly happening in the past one long hour except all parents were busy pacified and soothed their baby. It was a nightmare to me! I was lost and helpless, at that moment I was regretted and wonder if I should send him to class! I was completely flat end of the lesson. I really hope that our Little Darling would grow love to his lessons and I will try my best to let him have good nap every time before lessons!
