We do not bring Darling to goat farm for long time, thought of let Darling spent this morning together with goats. We reached the farm at 9am, there was really pack and no place to park car. So we decided to change itinerary – heading to Lim Chu Kang Jetty.

1st Meeting Parents' Session for 2009
Today was 1st meeting parents session, I fixed the appointment at 10.30am after Darling’s SM lesson. Darling refused to enter in the school, thought that daddy and mummy wanted him to stay in the school!
We met both English and Chinese teachers, both teachers were happy with Darling’s development. Teacher Sheila (English Teacher) said he speaks well, express himself better then other kids and he has no problem mix and communicating with other kids. With very minimum instrcutions and supervision, he can draw and paint what teacher shown/asked. Darling illustrates good leadership, he leads other kids to complete a lego and dough moulding games. He takes initiative to play and help his friends, he volunteer to help teacher when see teacher tidy up the place etc (in short he is kaypoh! :P).
Teacher Pheng (Chinese teacher) commented that though Darling pronunciation not clear but he able to understand instruction given in Chinese. He can speak some simple words and sing some Chinese songs too! :P May be we can focus to train on his writing skill.
Actually daddy and mummy are happy with Darling’s academic development too. But we still have problems deal with Darling’s strong-minded and mischievous behaviour! He always leads other kids to start hullabaloo. He will be the first one zoom to the door when teacher asked kids to go to canteen etc. And because of these, he has so many cuts and bruise marks on hands and legs.
Think we need more patient and extra time to develop an obedient boy!
Linking Memory Test
Went to SM class like usual but there was the first Linking Memory Olympic test this morning. Darling did well most of the time at home, he could recall about 85% of total 40 cards at the correct squeenze when mummy practices with him at home. When teacher started the test this morning, Darling threw temper, refused to arrange any though the rest of children were actively participating the test. No matter how mummy and teacher pacifying, he walked away from table and refused to touch those cards.
When lesson ended, teacher arranged a separate one for him, then only he relunctantly agrred to do. What a fussy boy!
